EARTHLINGS

ADS Gallery presents Earthlings: ceramics, paintings, and book collaboration by Corinne Beardsley and Sludge Thunder. Beardsley’s marbled cross-sections of native clay and glaze undulate open to reveal symmetrical figures and symbols. Sludge Thunder’s energetic paintings present uncanny metaphors, objects worthy of attention, with charming characters that teeter between fiction and reality.

Earthlings collaborative book
Corinne Beardsley and Sludge Thunder
 compiles sketches, source imagery,stories, and reflections on the artworks presented. The unique embossed covers are handmade from clay and paper studio scraps, and the colorful pages are risographs printed by Obsessed Press.
